Gohan's Potential in GT

GT Logic has no reservations in meddling with clearly-established things in DBZ.

With the immense power that is conferred upon Goku, is it possible that they simply gave Goku the greatest potential?

Even w/ SSJ and SSJ2 retrained, Gohan was bumped below Vegeta and Goku for the entire series.

I bring this up because the way GT is presented I don't see how SSJ4 Gohan could stomp SSJ4 Goku/Vegeta
We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

Well for me canon logic still works well I think that Gohan's potential in GT is still above tagt of both Goku and Vegetas I just don't think there gap is as huge as it was on dbz :)

The reason gohan was weak and made to look like a pussy was because:
1.plot
2.Unlike dbz(uptill ending of cell saga) gt(also buu saga) focuses on goku as the main/hero/strongest person character only.
3.due the 2nd reason gohan and most of the other original z fighters were made as cannon fodder just as how tein, krillin, yamcha and roshi were once upon a time were a powerfull, usefull person and not cannon fodder.but as the series progressed we al know what happened to them.....the same thing has happen to gohan and piccolo.....nowadays in dbz its just goku and vegeta being the strongest..

I think the short and easy answer is this: Toriyama had already thrown Gohan under the bus in the Buu saga, Goku and Vegeta are the most popular characters, so why not give the people what they want?

I agree with that about Goku and Vegeta taking the spotlight mostly but that doesn't mean they beat Gohan's potential which was stated multiple times to be far above that of both Goku and Vegetas :)

You're lucky you're my friend. Otherwise I'd have to kill you.

Nope. He's just the main character with more opportunities. If Gohan achieved Super Saiyan 4, he would have been the strongest just like it was somewhat suggested at the very end.

Not at the beginning of GT. They train harder than him as he's reading books. They were bound to surpass him eventually. Not a big deal with that. And, their potential > his Super Saiyan transformations. | Gohan's potential > theirs

How come, you Goku fan boy? <-- Kidding. But how come? Gohan has always and will always be the strongest deep inside.

^ GT just didn't seem to recall the Gohan potential at all, so I thought maybe they had discarded the notion

Nah. They just didn't give Gohan the chances that he deserved. If they did, no one would be able to stop Gohan. No one.

Gohan said he got enraged from the bottom of his heart when he fought Super #17, but he still did less than Vegeta.

Cool something down right there. Just because he's enraged doesn't mean he's all-powerful, my waffle brother.

Super Buu: So, hotshot! You want to fight Majin Buu?

Base Goku wasn't even serious against ssj baby Gohan and Goten likely. He was beating them pretty much easily. I haven't seen a thing in GT which implies Gohan's potential>>Goku and Vegeta.
